Southport Waterloo has been seeking a synthetic track in Sefton
for many years and it is now happening! A new 6-lane track with
two 8-lane straights is being built by Sefton MBC in Litherland,
just behind Litherland High School. The site will be a multi-sport
centre with football and rugby pitches, a synthetic sports surface
and a pavilion with changing facilities and a weights room.
When the track opens in Spring 2006, Litherland will become the
home base of Southport Waterloo.
